Before you book

Is it my first time — will it be obvious?
No. First doses are deliberately conservative and reviewed at two weeks, so we build up rather than overshoot. Most first-timers leave looking rested rather than treated.

Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
Topical numbing is used where it helps. Most people describe a scratch. Expect small marks or mild swelling and bruising for a few hours to a day, depending on the treatment — we will tell you exactly what to plan around.

What if I change my mind?
Nothing goes ahead on the day you first ask about it. There is a cooling-off period before any first treatment, and no charge if you decide against it at consultation.

Who do I call if something worries me?
Me, directly, on the number given with your aftercare — including out of hours. Complications are rare, but they are handled quickly and without fuss when they happen.
If you experience severe or rapidly worsening symptoms, or believe you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E department immediately.
